The Heraklion Port Authority SA is launching an international public competition/bidding process for the utilization of the Port Authority of Heraklion, in the context of the strategy for the development of the country’s port infrastructure.
The bidding process predicts the sale of at least 67% of the share capital of the company. The state has granted the organization the right of exclusive use and operation of the lands, buildings and facilities of the land of the port area of Heraklion.
The competitive bidding process will be carried out in two phases: a) the phase of submission of expression of interest and pre-selection of interested parties and b) the phase of submission of binding offers and nomination of a bidder. In the first phase, interested parties are invited to express their interest in participating in the competitive process on Friday 30 July.
The relevant call for expressions of interest has been posted on the Fund’s website.
